arts and crafts from the heart of asheville

So, I decided to take a trip to the lovely Asheville, North Carolina for a little arts and crafts inspiration. It was so fun! All kinds of local artists had their work displayed on shops, corners, stores, etc. They were showing and selling. I bought a few things, but mostly just got some awesome ideas. I thought I'd share some cool pics of things that would be cheap, easy, and fun to make. Enjoy!

  2. What a lot of beautiful objects, I especially love the candles as they are quite different to the ones that I have seen in shops (in that they are plain)

  3. i love that they are plain! it makes them super easy to decorate. this girl had a little tent set up outside a big shop, and she was making her own candles and then custom painting some. It was really cool! id love to learn how to make bath stuff.
